Food Sovereignty Program

Who We Are

The Food Sovereignty Programs provides access to nutritious food, promotes balanced eating habits, and reduces reliance on processed foods. The program plays a pivotal role in addressing food insecurity. To foster community support, our team’s efforts extend beyond food distribution. We offer education and empowerment opportunities, ensuring sustainable solutions for better health outcomes. Join us in cultivating a healthier, more resilient community through food sovereignty!
To learn more about how you can gain access to free, healthy food through our no-cost, monthly food distribution, contact Agricultural Coordinator Gavin Mora at

In order to achieve the goal of the Food Sovereignty Program, the following objectives have been established:

1) Construct and manage a greenhouse that will produce fresh, natural produce year-round for local schools, tribal organizations, and community members.
2) Develop a comprehensive agricultural curriculum that is culturally relevant, appropriate, and age-specific.
3) Partner with local, tribal, and state regional entities to improve and expand the 7-acre community farm.
4) Educate and promote the consumption of all-natural, fresh produce from the 7-acre farm with the development of a tribal food system plan.
